We want Singers! Come and sing a cappella harmony with us!
- You don't have to be able to read music. (It doesn't hurt to know how!)
- You do need to be able to carry a tune!
- You don't have to be a professional singer ~ none of us are!
- You do need to love to sing and want to learn more about singing the style of Barbershop Harmony!
- You do need to expect to have fun!
We are continually recruiting dedicated singers to join our terrific chorus. We love guests! Lawton Harmony Chorus (a chapter of Sweet Adelines International) invites you to enjoy the fellowship of women like yourself in making beautiful harmony music. Our rehearsals are open to visitors each Tuesday night starting at 6:30 p.m. We meet once a week to practice our music repertoire and learn new songs. It is at these practice sessions that we begin to learn the skills necessary to perform our style of vocal harmony. We'll have you singing and learning along with us from your first step on the risers. We think you'll have so much fun you'll want to keep coming back!
So, put some "SING" in your life and come join the fun! Be part of something you'll enjoy for life! We are easy to find at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 7110 West Gore Blvd, Lawton each Tuesday evening at 6:30.
